Jacob, who shares son Mateo with wife Isabel, has been working at the farm for years while also residing on the property. His latest update points to a surprising factor influencing his departure. LPBW Star Jacob Roloff Addresses Farm Departure

Jacob Roloff claims his father, Matt Roloff, is asking him and Isabel to leave Roloff Farms. The LPBW alum made the statement on Reddit while discussing what could be his final pumpkin season at the property. He said the sacrifices in wages and time would have been worthwhile if the farm could be preserved, but the current situation has become difficult. Jacob said he earned about $22 per hour at Roloff Farms over the past four years. He and Isabel paid about $1,150 each month to live in a doublewide trailer on the property.

In a later response, he placed his pay closer to $23 or $24 per hour and said roughly 30 percent of his income went back to Matt as rent. Jacob also claimed he couldn’t review the farm’s books or receive flexibility to develop additional events. He suggested holding two markets monthly for eight months could help cover electric bills and much of the property taxes, while seeking a reasonable lease arrangement and asking that funds support the farm instead of other financial obligations. He later sought job leads in Hillsboro.

LPBW: Jacob Roloff Claims Weeds Led To Farm Eviction

Jacob Roloff said he is being removed from Roloff Farms largely because of weeds growing around his residence. In his Sunday video, the LPBW alum showed followers thistle and blackberry weeds near a drainage area and along his driveway. Jacob explained that unmowed lawn and occasional weed growth constitute the maintenance issues prompting his departure. He emphasized the situation was serious, stating the vegetation problems are genuinely causing his eviction from the property.

Jacob hinted at pressure to use chemical herbicides, which he refuses due to health concerns for his young son, Mateo. He captioned one video suggesting others want him to spray Roundup everywhere visible, but he worries about potential health risks for his barefoot toddler. The former reality star noted that no warning system exists when chemicals are applied to farm areas. Jacob characterized the maintenance standards as unreasonable given his other farm responsibilities and family considerations.

In follow-up posts, Jacob said he and a cousin were pulled from pumpkin patch work to landscape around Matt Roloff’s house, which is listed for sale. He explained the timing was crucial for hand-weeding the field since no mechanical equipment was available. Jacob stated they were told the landscaping would help sell the property, though it has not yet sold. He described the priority shift as contradictory, questioning why cosmetic improvements took precedence over harvest preparation during pumpkin season.

Jacob acknowledged he lacked flexibility to challenge these decisions as a worker and tenant farmer dependent on wages and housing. He said management doesn’t approve when he suggests alternative approaches. The ongoing drama has escalated throughout September as the pumpkin season launch approaches.
