Big Brother alum Amber Siyavus at 46 recently passed away, and a sad update has been provided by the police on the case
Tragic new details revealed about ‘Big Brother’ star Amber Siyavus’ death at 46
“Big Brother” alum Amber Siyavus was found with a white powder and drug paraphernalia near her body when she died earlier this month.
She was discovered unresponsive in a bedroom of a home in Las Vegas on Oct. 9, the Metropolitan Police Department stated in a police report obtained by TMZ.
Police were called to the scene after Siyavus’ aunt discovered her lying in the same position in bed for more than four hours.
Officers said in the report that the former reality star was found holding what appeared to be a snorting straw and a lighter.
Once Siyavus’ body was moved, authorities discovered “aluminum foil with burnt residue and a small plastic bag containing white powder underneath her.”
Prescription pills and four Narcan sprays, which are used to reverse opioid overdoses, were also found in her luggage, police claimed.
Per TMZ, Siyavus’ aunt told police that her niece traveled to Vegas on Oct. 4 to visit her mother. The aunt also claimed Siyavus did not have any suicidal thoughts and was trying to move her son to Nevada as well.
Though Siyavus had a history of drug use, her aunt told police she previously attended rehab for her drug addiction.
As Page Six previously reported, Siyavus died on Oct. 9. She was 46.
Before her tragic death, Siyavus had faced several legal troubles, including pleading guilty to attempting to resist an officer with a dangerous weapon in 2020 and pleading guilty to felony forgery over Western Union money orders.
Siyavus competed on “Big Brother” in 2007, ultimately placing seventh in the CBS competition series.
During her time on the show, she earned the nickname “Whamber” due to her frequent crying in the house.
