Heartbreaking Update! 😭 90 Day Fiancé’s Jenny Slatten Reveals She’s Losing Strength in Her Hands Amid ALS Battle
90 Day Fiancé star Jenny Slatten has shared another heartbreaking update about her battle with ALS, revealing that the progressive disease is now affecting the strength and function of her hands.
The 68-year-old reality star, who has spent years sharing her unconventional love story with husband Sumit Singh, was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis in December 2025. Since then, fans have watched Jenny and Sumit adjust to a frightening new reality as her symptoms continue to progress.

In a recent update, Jenny admitted that she has begun losing strength in her hands, making everyday activities increasingly difficult.
“I’m losing the strength in my hands,” Jenny revealed, explaining that she can still use them but struggles to perform tasks that once required little thought. She specifically mentioned difficulty opening jars and holding certain objects — seemingly small challenges that demonstrate how ALS is changing her independence
The hand weakness comes amid other serious symptoms.
Jenny has experienced problems with her speech, swallowing and balance. Her voice has become increasingly difficult to understand, and recent updates indicate that speaking can now be physically exhausting and painful. Sumit has consequently taken on a much larger caregiving role.
Despite the devastating progression, Jenny has continued trying to maintain as much independence as possible.
She is reportedly taking riluzole and edaravone, two medications used in the treatment of ALS. However, there is currently no cure for the disease, and treatment generally focuses on slowing progression and managing symptoms.
