For nearly a decade, Croatian cellists Luka Šulić and Stjepan Hauser have shared the stage with Italian tenor icon Andrea Bocelli — but this latest performance proved why their bond is pure magic. As Bocelli’s soaring voice intertwined with the spellbinding sound of the cello, the audience was left breathless, overwhelmed by the harmony of three masters who seemed born to play together. Within hours, clips of the collaboration had gone viral, racking up millions of views, endless shares, and comments calling it “the best crossover since Three Tenors.” Even fellow musicians couldn’t stop praising their chemistry, hailing it as a performance that redefines classical music for a new generation. This wasn’t just music — it was a masterpiece of passion and unity that fans will never forget.
Renowned Italian opera soprano Andrea Bocelli performed a cover of Bon Jovi’s hit song “Livin’ on a Prayer” during a brief reunion with Luka Šulić and Stjepan Hauser in Tuscany on Monday to commemorate their tenth anniversary as a trio. The two had been away for two years.
Following several performances together over the previous seven years, Šulić and Hauser became friends with Bocelli.
“Amazing day spent in stunning Tuscany with Andrea Bocelli today! After sharing a picture of the three of them together on Instagram, Šulić wrote, “Thank you and your family for hospitality.”
Šulić and Hauser decided to part ways two years ago to focus on their own projects after a hectic 8 years together touring the world.
The pair gave a glimpse of what they are working on in Italy with a teasing video on social media.
The duo reached video viral fame on YouTube from their 2011 rendition of Michael Jackson’s “Smooth Criminal” and went on to amass 1.3 billion YouTube views, 5.5 million YouTube subscribers, 1 billion streams, and sold nearly 1 million tickets.
The Croatians have sold out shows across the globe at historic venues including New York City’s Radio City Music Hall, London’s Royal Albert Hall and the Sydney Opera House.
The duo has performed alongside musical greats Steven Tyler, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Queens of the Stone Age and George Michael, to name a few, and was hand-picked by Sir Elton John to perform both as an opener as well as part of the iconic singer’s live band.
