The 49-year-old legend, who was supporting his 16-year-old son Charlie at the Nicklaus Junior Championship earlier this week, appeared visibly frail, particularly in his lower body. Sporting a black compression sleeve on his surgically repaired right leg, Woods looked thinner than usual. Observers on-site noted how stark the difference was from his pre-injury physique.

The image, which circulated widely online, triggered an outpouring of responses from fans who have followed Woods’ long and public recovery.

“Bro, both of his legs look like twigs compared to the rest of his body,” one user posted. “Don’t think he’ll be able to fully come back anymore to playing PGA Tour events and contending.”
